Chipotle takes chorizo nationwide on October 4, 2016 after a successful limited rollout in five markets earlier this summer.

Starting Tuesday, October 4, Chipotle will be offering the spicy new sausage in all the chain’s U.S. restaurants. Incidentally, October 4, just happens to be National Taco Day.
Chipotle’s chorizo features a blend of pork and white-meat chicken that’s seasoned with three types of paprika, toasted cumin and chipotle peppers, then seared on a hot grill.
Chorizo is available in burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads and can be combined with other signature ingredients.
