Last month Chew Boom reported Wendy’s was preparing to bring back the Taco Salad within a few weeks. Today, Chew Boom can report the Taco Salad will be returning to Wendy’s just in time for National Taco Day on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.

Wendy’s originally introduced the Taco Salad over three decades ago in the early 1980s. Since then, the Taco Salad has had an on-again, off-again relationship with the chain, until it was permanently removed from U.S. menus about 6 years ago.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 the Taco Salad’s relationship with Wendy’s is on-again.
Wendy’s Taco Salad features a mix of iceberg and romaine lettuce topped with Wendy’s signature chili, diced tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese. The salad is served with tortilla chips, sour cream and salsa.
The Taco Salad sells for a suggested price of $5.99 for a full-sized version, and $3.99 for a half-sized portion (prices may vary).
