Starbucks is handing over the reins of power to its baristas for the next couple of weekends as it serves up “Barista Originals” – fall drink recipes developed exclusively by its baristas.

For just two weekends – October 13-16 and October 20-23 – more than 7,500 Starbucks locations across the US will be serving up drinks developed exclusively by its baristas.
For the drinks, Starbucks asked its baristas to submit their favorite fall beverage customization ideas through social media. The team tested 20 of the submitted drink recipes and selected five of their favorites. Each participating location will feature unique drink recipes based on the five winning recipes.
Andrew Vagner, a shift supervisor in Cleveland, Ohio, submitted one of the five drinks that the team selected. Vagner submitted a Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew topped with breve, and pumpkin spice sauce for a hint of spicy sweetness and cream on top to add a smooth richness.
Taylor Regehr, a shift supervisor who works in Seattle submitted a Chai Latte with pumpkin spice sauce and Cinnamon Dolce syrup.
