Basketball Hall-of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal loves Krispy Kreme donuts so much that he bought the historic Krispy Kreme shop on Ponce de Leon Avenue, in Atlanta. The store opened more than 60 years ago.

In addition to becoming an official Krispy Kreme shop owner, Shaq will also become the brand’s new global spokesperson.
Shaq’s love for the chain’s Original Glazed donut is no secret. He’s publicly displayed his affection for the brand in media as well as across social media for years.
To celebrate Shaq joining the Krispy Kreme family, the chain is offering a “Shaq-or-Treat” social media promotion for Halloween. Krispy Kreme fans will have a chance to win Shaq-autographed prizes and Krispy Kreme surprises by tagging their Halloween social media posts with #ShaqOrTreat between October 28 and 31, 2016.
