The owner, Jon Nicholls, purchased the “biker bar” about a year ago, and quickly began sinking deep into debt. Nicholls just happens to be in the rescue business himself – working as a medevac helicopter pilot with the Colorado National Guard. Now he’s the one in need of a rescue.
Faced with a failing bar, and in debt to the tune of about $300,000, Nicholls appealed to the producers of Bar Rescue for help.
Taffer answered the call on July 28, and by August 4, 2016, the rescue and makeover was complete.
During the makeover, the bar was given fishing theme, a new glycol system with8 taps, point of sale system, new barstools, furniture and paint. Standard upgrades we see at most of the bars featured on the show.
Garrison Tavern Listed For Sale 4 Days After Bar Rescue
As we previously noted, the makeover was completed on August 4. Just four days later on August 8, the Garrison Tavern was listed for sale on LoopNet for $148,000. The Bar Rescue makeover and upcoming episode featuring the Garrison is being used as a selling point.

3580 sqft Bar & Grill with full Kitchen. Will be featured on Hit T.V show BAR RESCUE in 2016! Great location downtown Colorado Springs Colorado! Recently Remodeled.
