McDonald’s cozies up to the idea that size does matter with the nationwide launch of two new versions of its most iconic menu item: the Grand Mac and Mac Jr.

The chain tested bigger and smaller versions of the Big Mac at select locations in Texas and Ohio earlier this year. Chew Boom has learned that the chain now plans to launch the two menu items nationwide for a limited time.
The Grand Mac features two one-sixth-pound all-beef patties and features a larger bun, along with traditional Big Mac toppings.
The Mac Jr. is just a scaled down portable version of the Big Mac.
During testing, the Grand Mac was being offered at the suggested price of $4.89, while the Mac Jr. was priced between $2.39 and $2.59, depending on location.
