They say you can tell the season by the drinks on the menu at your local McCafe. Well, they don’t actually say that, we just made it up, but there’s some truth to that statement – here’s why. The Peppermint Mocha is back at McDonald’s, and that can mean only one thing – the 2016 Holiday Season has officially arrived!

The Peppermint Mocha features espresso combined with peppermint and dark chocolate syrup, steamed milk, whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle.
You can also enjoy the drink in a couple of other versions, including hot chocolate minus the espresso, and as an iced beverage. The choice of course is yours, but our favorite is the original. If you’re concerned about your caffeine intake, the hot chocolate is a good option. If you’re feeling the heat of the season, go with the chilled version.
A Peppermint Mocha will cost you around $2.99, however, prices and availability may vary by location.
