Arby’s new Three Cheese Steak Sandwich features sliced Angus beef with Swiss, Cheddar and Gouda cheeses, plus onion strings and creamy steakhouse peppercorn sauce all sandwiched between a star cut bun.

Nicholas Whitfield, over at Whitfield’s Food Revue picked one up for $6.29 at his local Arby’s. Prices may vary by location.

Right out of the box Arby’s new Three Cheese Steak Sandwich proved to be very appealing, with slices of Angus steak layered to perfection. Each bite offered a well balanced mix of flavors and textures from the Angus steak, crispy onion strings, cheese and peppercorn sauce.

The Angus steak is very tasty, but surprisingly, the onion strings stand out as the star of the show. Meanwhile the three cheeses kind of get lost in the background.
