Papa John’s Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Cheesesticks are made with fresh dough that’s folded and stuffed with several cheeses, including cheddar, Asiago, Fontina, Provolone and cheese made from mozzarella. The sticks are finished with garlic sauce, hickory-smoked bacon, and buttery Parmesan Romano cheese.

Eric, aka TheEndorsement, picked up an order of new Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Cheesesticks for $5 at his local Papa John’s. Each order includes six sticks plus one dipping sauce of your choice – Eric received Ranch with his order.
Perhaps looking to differentiate themselves from the competition, Papa John’s Stuffed Cheesesticks don’t conform to what most people would describe as a classic cheese stick. As an example, Pizza Hut’s Cheese Sticks are generally rectangular, and fairly consistent in shape and size, whereas Papa John’s Stuffed Cheessticks could perhaps be best described as a calzone divided into six unequal pieces. If you’re plan is to share, someone will inevitably end up with the short end of the Cheesestick – of which there are two.
But ultimately, it’s the taste that counts and Papa John’s Bacon Cheddar Stuffed Cheesesticks certainly deliver the flavor with a tasty combination of crispy crumbled bacon, garlic sauce and an orgy of unpronounceable cheeses. But you’re going to find it difficult, if not impossible to pick up on the individual cheese flavors. While the bacon is crispy and tasty, it was concentrated among the four ‘sticks’ in the middle and almost nonexistent near the ends.
