While ground turkey has appeared on Del Taco’s menu in the past, the new upgraded seasoned turkey version features 40 percent less fat than the brand’s seasoned beef.
Ian K. over at Peep THIS Out! picked up a new Turkey Del Taco at his local Del Taco for $1.39. For his review, Ian ordered his without tomatoes.
When it comes to size, the Turkey Del Taco has larger portions of seasoned turkey and grated cheddar cheese all packed inside a bigger corn taco shell.

The larger taco shell delivers the crunch factor with an abundant amount of grated cheddar that mingles well with the “very nice” ground turkey seasoning and crunchy lettuce. While the seasoning isn’t exactly spicy, it does have a slight kick to remind you that it’s in the house. Overall, for $1.39, the Turkey Del Taco offers moderately decent value.
Ian gives the Del Taco Turkey a very respectable 8.5 out of 10.
