McDonald’s is giving away new limited-edition Chocolate Shamrock Shake straws designed by a team of aerospace and robotic engineers. If you’re interested in scoring one, keep reading to find out exactly what you need to do.

McDonald’s is only making 2,000 of the limited-edition straws available at select locations for one day in February and one day in March. While the straws are free, you will have to purchase a Chocolate Shamrock Shake to receive one. The odds aren’t in your favor, so you’ll have to plan in advance if you want any chance of scoring one.

I have compiled a list of participating locations, along with dates and times when the limited-edition straws will be handed out. Be warned, only a few straws will be available at each participating restaurant on a first come, first served basis. Those of you who aren’t near a restaurant where the straws are being given away should follow McDonald’s Facebook page, as well as your local McDonald’s Twitter account for a chance to win one of these coveted straws. Also take note that I will update this list if and when straw distribution is expanded.
