Rita’s Italian Ice celebrates the first day of spring along with their 25th anniversary by serving up free Italian Ice on March 20, 2017.

The free Italian Ice promotion is available from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. local time on Monday, March 20, at participating Rita’s Italian Ice locations nationwide.
Rita’s expects to give away more than one million cups of ice during Free Ice Day. The promo is limited to one free Italian Ice per person.
Rita’s is also encouraging fans to help spread “Ice, Custard and Happiness” by sharing photos on social media using the hashtag #RitasFirstDayOfSpring to enter Rita’s First Day of Spring Photo Contest. Fans who submit a photo between March 20 and March 24, will be entered for a chance to win one of 25 prizes, including a chance at the grand prize of free Italian Ice for a year.
