Subway UK offers a traditional barbecue delicacy with the introduction of the new BBQ Beef Burnt Ends Sub at participating locations.

The official build consists of slow-cooked beef, smoky BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and sliced green peppers on fresh-baked bread.
According to Subway, the beef is slow-cooked for six hours and marinated in a smoky BBQ sauce.
While burnt ends are considered a delicacy in the barbecue cooking world, from what I can tell, Subway’s version of burnt ends is more or less just a simulation of the real thing.
In short, burnt ends are typically chewy, but very flavorful trimmings cut from a smoked brisket during the smoking process.
BBQ Beef Burnt Ends will be available through May 30, 2017.
