Shake Shack celebrates the launch of their 6th Annual Great American Shake Sale benefiting No Kid Hungry on May 1, 2017, with the introduction of three new limited-time shakes.
Shake Shack’s Great American Shake Sale is part of the brand’s company-wide marketing initiative to raise awareness and funds for No Kid Hungry, a campaign focused on ending childhood hunger in America. The campaign runs from May 1, through May 31, 2017.
Throughout the month of May, fans who donate $2 or more to No Kid Hungry will receive a card for a complimentary hand-spun shake – valued at $6.00 – redeemable on their next visit.
To kick things off, Shake Shack will be launching three new featured shakes beginning May 1:
- Brownie Batter features chocolate brownie batter frozen custard blended with fudge sauce, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
- Cinnamon Dulce De Leche consists of vanilla frozen custard blended with dulce de leche and cinnamon, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar.
- Red Velvet Cake features vanilla frozen custard blended with cream cheese-frosted red velvet cake and topped with whipped cream.
Last year, Shake Shack surpassed its goal of raising $500,000 for No Kid Hungry by nearly $100,000. Shake Shack’s goal for 2017 is to raise an additional $500,000 for No Kid Hungry.
