Despite the name, Wienerschnitzel has never featured schnitzel of any kind on its menu, including Wiener Schnitzel. By definition, Wiener Schnitzel (Wienerschnitzel in Switzerland) is a very thin, breaded and pan fried cutlet made from veal.
Wienerschnitzel’s new Chicken Schnitzel Sandwiches will be available at participating locations through June 25, 2017, in three varieties: Classic Ranch, BBQ Bacon, and Blazin’ Bacon Guacamole.
With a suggested price of $3.49, the Classic Ranch features a breaded chicken filet, ranch dressing, pickles, sliced tomato and lettuce.
At $3.99, the Barbecue Bacon comes with a breaded chicken filet, two slices of bacon, American cheese, barbeque sauce, and grilled onions.
The Blazing Bacon Guacamole breaks through the four-dollar ceiling at a suggested price $4.49, and consists of a breaded chicken filet, Blazin’ sauce, guacamole, bacon, lettuce and tomato.
Prices and availability may vary by location.
