Sonic celebrates the upcoming release of Paramount Pictures’ Transformers: The Last Knight science fiction action film with the introduction of new movie-inspired Color Changing Slushes.

Available in three varieties – Optimus Prime, Megaton and Bumblebee – the new Color Changing Slushes only come in one size – medium, and carry a suggested price of $2.29 each. I checked with my local Sonic just to confirm availability, as well as the medium size restriction. While I was able to confirm both, I was also told that some Sonic locations will be rolling out the new slushes through the week. My advice would be to call ahead to your local Sonic to confirm availability before making a special trip.
If you’re wondering about the color changing aspect, Sonic says the new slushes will change color when stirred. Here’s a look at the new lineup of color changing slushes:
- Optimus Prime features a cherry slush with an added layer of blue raspberry flavor on top.
- Megaton is a clear slush with an added layer of grape flavor on top
- Bumblebee consists of an orange slush with an added layer of grape flavor on top.
