The brand has been rolling out the new sandwich at select locations across the country as a new addition to its Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich line. It’s my understanding that McDonald’s plans to officially launch the Signature Sriracha sandwich and Sriracha Mac Sauce nationwide by the end of July.
The Signature Sriracha sandwich can be customized with you choice of a quarter-pound beef patty, buttermilk crispy chicken, or Artisan grilled chicken, and comes topped with Sriracha Mac sauce, crispy onions, tomato, white cheddar cheese and a blend of baby kale and spinach on an Artisan roll. This is the first time McDonald’s has featured kale on a sandwich.
Sriracha Mac Sauce
In addition to the new sandwich, McDonald’s will also make Sriracha Mac sauce available as a dipping sauce for sides like Chicken McNuggets and French fries, for a limited time through the summer.
The chain tested Sriracha Mac Sauce last November on its own as a dipping sauce, and as part of the limited-time Sriracha Big Mac.
