Inspired by the local favorite dish of the same name, the Nasi Lemak burger features a pair of crispy, coconut-flavored chicken thigh patties coated with cornflakes and paired with sweet & spicy sambal sauce, a fried egg, caramelized onions and cucumber slices, all sandwiched between a pair of lightly toasted semolina buns.
The burger sells for a suggested price of around $4.37 USD a la carte, or $5.72 USD as part of an Extra Value Meal.
Nasi lemak is a Malay fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf. While it’s is considered the national dish of Malaysia, it’s also very popular in Singapore.
