Coca-Cola says their zero calorie fan favorite is getting an upgrade, with an “even better-tasting recipe” as well as new packaging that features the brand’s iconic red Coca-Cola disc.

While the new drink still contains zero sugar, the brand claims the new recipe taste is closer to that of Coca-Cola Classic.

“We’ve used our in-house innovation capabilities to make the great taste of Coke Zero even better and a lot like a Coke. To achieve this, we optimized the unique blend of flavors that gave Coke Zero its real Coca-Cola taste in the new and improved Coca-Cola Zero Sugar recipe,” Stuart Kronauge, Coca-Cola’s business unit president said.

After more than a year of consumer testing, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar is set to hit store shelves nationwide starting in August, 2017.

If you’re a hardcore Coke Zero fan, you may want to stock up before it’s too late, just in case, you know – New Coke.
