Taco Bell has been spotted testing new Firecracker Burritos, featuring Cayenne Popping Crystals in select U.S. markets.

Reddit was popping with speculation Monday after a fan posted a drive-through menu board image of the newest item.
Available in two flavor varieties, Cheesy and Spicy, the Firecracker Burrito features seasoned beef, rice, red strips, reduced fat sour cream, and nacho cheese sauce all wrapped in a red tortilla ( cayenne-infused?). The spicy version adds chipotle sauce for extra heat.
While the new Firecracker Burritos are priced at $1.29 each, you can add pop to your burrito by picking up a packet of new Cayenne Popping Crystals for an additional 20-cents.
According to Reddit user Elbore the Cayenne Popping Crystals taste sweet and crackle just like pop rocks.
