Pepsi is celebrating the 2017 holiday season in Japan with the launch of new “Christmas Cola” – a limited-edition cake-flavored cola.

Apparently, Christmas cake is a big thing in Japan during Christmas. A typical Japanese Christmas cake features a sponge cake covered with whipped cream that’s topped with strawberries and a small figurine of Santa Claus and other popular festive characters. It’s like a strawberry shortcake on steroids.
Pepsi’s new Christmas Cola is a white cola that features a sweet and sour strawberry flavor in a holiday-themed bottle.
Christmas cola is set to debut in Japan on November 21, 2017, in 490ml bottles for a suggested retail price of 140 yen ($1.25).
