Krispy Kreme’s fan-picked Lemon Glaze Doughnut will make its debut on Monday, April 23 and will be available for one week only through Sunday, April 29, 2018 at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The Lemon Glaze Doughnut takes the brand’s Original Glazed Doughnut and coats it in a new lemon glaze. The brand said its culinary innovation team spent months perfecting the new lemon glaze, which “balances the freshness of real lemon, the brightness of citrus and the sweetness of Krispy Kreme’s iconic Original Glazed Doughnut.”
The new flavor was selected by fans in the brand’s first-ever #VoteForGlaze campaign held in January.
Lemon was America’s top choice, taking 36 percent of the total vote. Caramel placed second with 26 percent, blueberry received 20 percent, and maple finished with a respectable 18 percent.
