McDonald’s fries up a new cheesy side in Germany with the introduction of Camembert Donuts at participating locations.

The new side features a ring of real camembert cheese breaded up and deep-fried until crispy and golden on the outside.
Try to think of them as mozzarella cheese sticks in the shape of a ring donut, but with camembert cheese on the inside.
A 7-piece order is priced at 3,99 euros (US$4.90) and includes two packets of fruity cranberry sauce for dipping. You can also get a 4-piece order with one cranberry dipping sauce.
Camembert is a moist, soft, creamy, surface-ripened cow’s milk cheese.
