KFC’s Pickle Fried Chicken features the brand’s Extra Crispy Chicken coated in a new pickle sauce. The pickle sauce itself is made with a blend of dill, vinegar, onion, garlic, buttermilk, and white and black pepper.

Pickle Fried Chicken can be ordered as part of a Crispy Colonel Sandwich, Extra Crispy Tenders, Chicken Littles and Extra Crispy Chicken.

The sauce concept is similar, if not identical to KFC’s Nashville Hot, Smoky Mountain BBQ, and Georgia Gold flavor varieties, in as much as how it’s applied.

If you’re planning to put the new pickle-flavored chicken to a taste test, don’t hesitate, because the new flavor will only be available for a matter of a few weeks (while supplies last), as opposed to months. Each restaurant will only receive enough ingredients to pickle sauce its chicken for a few weeks and once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

For the ultimate pickle-flavored experience, you may feel inclined to wash it down with Sonic’s new Pickle Juice Slush. I have a feeling this pickle-inspired combo is going to be a thing come Monday.
