The decision has resulted in public backlash on social media as well as a Change.org petition asking the warehouse club chain to bring it back.
Before full-blown panic sets in, it should be made clear that Costco’s all-beef hot dogs will remain on the menu for $1.50 each. A price point that hasn’t changed since the 1980s.
Sam’s Club To The Rescue
In response, Sam’s Club took to Twitter to announce that they will debut 99-cent quarter-pound Polish dogs at all Sam’s Club cafes starting July 23, 2018.

Costco’s Polish Hot Dog Fans Vent On Twitter
Costco is cutting Polish hot dogs from their menu. I swear, half the reason I shopped at Costco was to get those hot dogs.

Costco not selling Polish hotdogs anymore is like IHOP changing their name to IHOB for a month. Straight betrayal

We living in a time where Toys R Us doesn’t exist and Costco doesn’t sell Polish Hotdogs….. I’m not bringing kids into this type of world.

So if Costco is cutting their Polish hot dogs out in favor of "more healthy and vegan options," does that mean the stuff they sell in the store will be more healthy, too? A place that sells gallon jugs of mayonnaise can't really get on a high horse about healthy options.
