Starbucks fans in Westchester, Queens, Long Island and Brooklyn will be the first on the East Coast to experience Starbucks new Mercato lunch menu.

The menu features a wide variety of grab-and-go salads, sandwiches and sides made fresh daily and donated nightly to the Food Bank for New York City as part of the brand’s FoodShare initiative, which donates surplus food at the end of the day to a local food bank.
Mercato is Italian for “marketplace,” a vibrant center of fresh food and ingredients, which provided the inspiration for the chain’s Mercato menu. Each item on the Mercato menu is crafted in a local kitchen and delivered fresh daily to Starbucks stores in the area.
All Mercato menu items are priced under $10 each, however, selection may vary by location.

Mercato is now available in more than 1,300 Starbucks stores in Seattle, Chicago, Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Westchester, Queens, Long Island and Brooklyn.
