KFC has a new celebrity Colonel Sanders. The chain announced Monday that actor, comedian and director Jason Alexander has been tapped to play the role of the brand’s iconic founder to promote KFC’s $20 Fill Ups.
Alexander, who is best known for playing George Costanza on the hit television sitcom Seinfeld, will appear in ads beginning Monday, August 6, 2018 to promote the brand’s KFC’s $20 Fill Ups, which for the first time are available in four different varieties, including the new 6-Piece Boneless Chicken Breasts $20 Fill-Up.
