Beginning in September, applewood smoked bacon will be tested as an option in eight select restaurants in Orange County, California before being considered for a full market test.

The brand is also expanding its successful 10-restaurant test of Build Your Own Nachos to full-market tests in Denver and Minneapolis-St. Paul this October. Chipotle nachos include homemade corn tortilla chips topped with an all new genuine queso and choice of meat, beans, salsas and lettuce.

From now until September 30, participating locations in Miami and Dallas will be offering $2 tacos with the purchase of any drink after 8 p.m. Those participating restaurants will remain open later, until 11 p.m.

Additionally, a test currently underway at select locations in Philadelphia and Indianapolis offers the option to add regular-sized chips and a fountain drink to any entree for $3.

“A cornerstone of our new strategy is to make Chipotle more culturally relevant and to meet our customers where they are with flavorful food they can feel good about eating,” said Chris Brandt, the company’s chief marketing officer, in a statement.
