Sandra Dee’s Bar-B-Que and Seafood is a family owned establishment owned and operated by Sandra Dee Johnson and her husband Jeffrey Johnson. The restaurant specializes in BBQ, fried seafood and soul food.
Tonight’s “shocking” episode is being billed as “Gordon’s most emotional transformation of the season.” The episode was filmed in December 2017.
According to the Sacramento Bee, Sandra Dee rejected Ramsay’s menu makeover, which included eliminating ribs, hot links – and nose-clearing seasoning. However, she did keep Ramsay’s makeover, which included wood planks on the walls and a pig silhouette decorated with butcher cut lines. Ramsay also brought in a local company to deep-clean the kitchen at a cost of $7,000 – paid for by the production company.
