At just short of a foot long, the Triplelupa is basically a three-in-one pull-apart crispy Chalupa that’s loaded up with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes and a three cheese blend, with nacho cheese sauce on one end, chipotle sauce on the other end, and a combination both sauces down the middle.

Available at 12 select test locations in Orange County through early December, the Triplelupa is priced at $3.49 on its own, or you can get it as part of a combo that includes one Triplelupa, a Crunchy Taco, and large fountain drink for $5.49.

Midnight Melt Taco Test

Additionally, Taco Bell is also testing the Midnight Melt Taco at select locations in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Chew Boom readers will recall the Midnight Melt Taco first appeared at select test locations earlier this summer in Irvine, California.

The Midnight Melt Taco features a deep-fried blue crispy corn tortilla shell filled with a layer of melted cheeses, then topped with seasoned beef, shredded cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes.

The test item is available on its own for $1.99, or as part of a $5 box with one Midnight Melt Taco, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists and a medium drink. Fans are also being offered the option to swap out the seasoned beef for black beans.
