Set to debut nationwide in January 2019, Strawberry Krispies feature a strawberry-flavored rice cereal with the iconic snap, crackle, pop of the original.
But it’s not the first time Kellogg’s created strawberry-flavored Rice Krispies cereal. Strawberry Krispies actually first appeared for a limited-time back in 1983, while much later in 2007 Kellogg’s introduced Rice Krispies with Real Strawberries.
However, Today reports a representative for Kellogg’s told them that the 2019 version of Strawberry Krispies “has a completely different recipe than its old predecessor.”
New Kellogg’s Strawberry Krispies will be available nationwide at all major retailers and grocery stores where breakfast foods are sold, with a suggested retail price between $3.99 and $5.69.
