Kellogg’s expands its upgraded Special K Protein line with the debut of new Special K Protein Honey Almond Ancient Grains Cereal.

The new cereal features cereal flakes made from a mix of whole grains including the ancient grains sorghum and black rice alongside the more common wheat and rice. The cereal is finished with honey and crunchy almonds.
Special K Protein Honey Almond Ancient Grains Cereal features 15-grams of protein per serving – which increases to 21-grams of protein per serving when served with ¾ cup of skim milk.
Cereals in the updated Special K Protein lineup, along with most of the brand’s meal bars, now include a nutrient bundle of magnesium, calcium and vitamin D alongside protein.
