Perhaps looking to give the Shamrock Shake a run for the money, Dairy Queen introduces the new Mint Shake at participating locations.

The Mint Shake features mint syrup hand-blended with milk and the brand’s vanilla soft serve. The shake is finished with a swirl of whipped topping. A malt version is also available.
For those in the know, Mint Shakes have been available by request as a “secret menu” item at many Dairy Queen locations for years. However, as far as I know, this is the first time the chain has made this version of the shake available on a nationwide basis.
McDonald’s Shamrock Shake typically appears around mid to late February in the run-up to St. Patrick’s Day. DQ appears to be getting a friendly jump on the competition.
