KFC announced today that RoboCop is the company’s latest Colonel Sanders, in a seemingly never-ending series of characters to play the company’s founder Colonel Harland Sanders.

During his tenure at the newest face to represent the brand, Colonel RoboCop will also be tasked with safely transporting an encrypted copy of the brand’s secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices to the Bahnhof maximum security nuclear bunker located in Stockholm, Sweden. It’s considered one of the most secure vaults in the world.
Starting on February 24, 2019 Colonel RoboCop will also appear in a series of ads promoting KFC’s four varieties of its popular $20 Fill Up and its $5 Fill Up offers featuring all white meat chicken.
As a backgrounder on the making of the Colonel’s secret recipe mix today, KFC employs two different suppliers, each producing approximately half of the herbs and spices blend, which are then blended together by a third supplier – making it impossible for any one supplier to produce the exact mix of 11 herbs and spices.
