Story continues below
Initially launched back in 2006 and discontinued in the US about six years ago, BK Stackers featured three hero ingredients – Meat, Cheese and Bacon – in Single, Double and Triple sizes for $1, $2 and $3 each respectively. In fact, when Stackers first launched the collection included a Quad Stacker, which was later dropped from the menu and replaced with the Single Stacker.
Fast-forward to 2019 and the Stacker is back with the “King” qualifier in three classic sizes with larger quarter-pound patties and more bacon:
Single Stacker King: A sesame seed bun sandwiching a quarter-pound of flame-grilled beef, one slice of American cheese, and hickory-smoked bacon, all topped with a dollop of BK Stacker Sauce.
Double Stacker King: A pair of the chain’s signature quarter-pound flame grilled beef patties layered with two slices of American cheese, hickory-smoked bacon and BK Stacker Sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.
Triple Stacker King: Three quarter-pound flame grilled beef patties paired with three slices of American cheese, and all topped off with a layer of hickory-smoked bacon and BK Stacker Sauce on a sesame seed bun.
YouTube food reviewer Peep This Out! (Ian) was somehow able to wrap his hands around a Triple Stacker King at his local BK in Southern California for $7.49. It’s certainly not a value item, but it’s truly a meat and cheese monster.
But don’t take my word for it, check out Ian’s complete review below for all the jaw-breaking details.
