Heinz in the UK confirmed its existence via social media on April 2, a day after initially announcing the new mashup on April Fools’ Day.

The original April 1 announcement made by Heinz Mayo was assumed to be just another tasty April Fools’ Day joke.

The limited-edition spread will only be available in the UK in limited quantities, as part of the company’s 150th-anniversary celebration.
