Mountain Dew is partnering with KFC for the debut of Sweet Lightning, a new Dew flavor that will be available exclusively at KFC locations nationwide by July 1, 2019.

The new flavor offers a “punch of peach and a touch of honey flavors, according to a release.
MTN DEW Sweet Lightning represents the first exclusive beverage to be offered at KFC. The brand’s only other partnership with a fast-food restaurant for an exclusive flavor release was with Taco Bell nearly 15 years ago for the introduction of the now fan-favorite Baja Blast.
Sweet Lightning was developed in partnership with the food and beverage innovation experts at KFC and MTN DEW to create the “perfect pairing for KFC’s Original Recipe fried chicken.”
MTN Dew’s Sweet Lightning will be on permanent pour at KFC locations nationwide by July 1.
