KFC Is Selling Special Edition Chicken Skin In South Korea

KFC is taking the Colonel’s secret blend of 11 herbs and spices to a whole new finger lick’n experience with the launch of Special Edition KFC Chicken Skin at select locations in South Korea.

That’s right, absolutely no chicken meat, just the skin – greasy, salty, deep-fried chicken skin – arguably the best part of the bird.

According to at least one report, the skins had to be “peeled off by hand” exclusively from the breasts of chickens raised in South Korea.

Chicken Skin is proving to be a very popular menu item, forcing the chain to expand availability just to keep up with demand.

No word yet on whether or not KFC plans to bring the greasy side to the US.
