Dunkin’ touts itself as the first US restaurant chain to serve 100 percent plant-based Beyond Breakfast Sausage with the introduction of the new Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich at select locations in Manhattan with plans for a future national rollout.
The Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich features a toasted English muffin sandwiching Beyond Meat’s 100 percent plant-based breakfast sausage patty, egg and American cheese.
To celebrate its debut, Dunkin’ is hosting a special Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich tasting event at participating locations in Manhattan on Tuesday, July 24, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while supplies last. Additionally, at the Dunkin’ at 240 W. 40th Street, the ceremonial first sample will be served by Ethan Brown, founder and CEO of Beyond Meat, David Hoffmann, Dunkin’ brands CEO and president, as well as other brand executives.
The Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich carries a suggested price of $4.29.
Dunkin’ did not provide details on when it plans to rollout the new Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich nationwide.
