Burger King announced today that it is taking the plant-based Impossible Whopper nationwide on August 8, 2019.

The Impossible Whopper features a flame-grilled patty made from plants topped with sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup and pickles on a toasted sesame seed bun.
To celebrate the launch, from August 8, through September 1, 2019 Burger King is encouraging fans to take advantage of the Impossible Taste Test promotion, where anyone can try both the Original Whopper and Impossible Whopper for $7 exclusively on DoorDash and the BK App. There’s also an option to get the $7 Impossible Taste Test with free delivery by using promo code “IMPOSSIBLE” when placing orders via DoorDash.com or through the app.
The Impossible Whopper can be found at participating locations nationwide for limited time at a suggested price of $5.59, while supplies last. Prices may vary by location.
