A&W is giving away free small Root Beer Floats on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in celebration of National Root Beer Float Day from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time.

While no purchase is necessary, donations to DAV (Disabled American Veterans) are encouraged.
A&W’s Root Beer Float features the brand’s Root Beer made with real cane sugar and a blend of secret ingredients, topped with creamy vanilla soft serve and served in a frosty mug.
Since 2013, A&W has raised more than $800,000 for veterans groups during National Root Beer Float Day.
