Del Taco is literally going to the dogs with the introduction of a new limited line of “Del Barko” all natural dog treats in celebration of National Dog Day on Monday, August 26, 2019.

Starting at 11:00 a.m. ET on Monday, August 27 Del Taco will be giving away 100 bags all natural Del Barko dog treats, crafted by Orange County-based Naked Dog Bistro, via the brand’s Instagram page with a “Swipe Up” feature.
Once those 100 bags are gone, Del Taco will start offering Del Barko treats via their webstore, where limited quantities will be available to purchase for $2 – including shipping – which just happens to be the same price of the chain’s new Breakfast Toasted Wrap.’

Additionally, Del Taco will be offering a free Breakfast Toasted Wrap with any purchase via the Del Taco app on Monday, August 27 with promo code “dogday” as part of the chain’s National Dog Day celebration. The offer will be valid for 7 days.
Del Barko all natural dog treats come in three flavors – bacon, cheese and hash brown.
Del Taco isn’t the first fast food chain to offer a dog specific treat. Back in November 2018, Burger King introduced the Dogpper – a limited-edition dog bone treat featuring the brand’s flame-grilled taste baked right into the treat.
