McDonald’s new Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich and new Spicy BBQ Glazed Tenders have finally been spotted in the wild after rumors of their existence first surfaced back in July.

Citing leaked documents, Kate Taylor of Business Insider was the first to report on the chain’s plan to launch the two new Spicy BBQ Chicken items nationwide in mid-September 2019. Both items have since been spotted on the menu at selection locations in advance of the national rollout.
The Spicy BBQ Chicken Sandwich features a crispy buttermilk breaded all white meat chicken fillet paired with Spicy BBQ Sauce, sliced pickles and slivered onions on a sesame seed bun.
Spicy BBQ Glazed Tenders take the chain’s existing buttermilk crispy tenders and tosses them in a Southwestern sauce spiced up with a hint of jalapeños for added heat.
