Coca-Cola is getting into the energy drink category with the U.S. debut of new Coca-Cola Energy in January 2020.
The brand’s first energy drink will be available in four varieties: Coca-Cola Energy, Coca-Cola Energy Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Energy Cherry and Coca-Cola Energy Cherry Zero Sugar. Coca-Cola Energy Cherry will be exclusively available in the U.S.
All four varieties will be sold in 12-oz sleek cans and include 114mg of caffeine per 12-oz serving. By comparison, a 12-oz serving of regular Coca-Cola has 34mg of caffeine, while a 12-oz serving of Diet Coke has 46mg of caffeine.
