Burger King brings trendy plant-based fast-food to the masses in the UK with the debut of the new Rebel Whopper.

The Rebel Whopper features a flame-grilled, 100 percent plant-based soy patty topped with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions on a toasted sesame seed bun.
While the Rebel Whopper will only be available through the BK App on January 6 and January 7, it will make its nationwide debut starting January 8, 2020.
There’s just one caveat, the plant-based Rebel Whopper really isn’t suitable for vegetarians or vegans due to the fact that it’s is cooked on the same broiler as the brand’s beef Whopper.
