McDonald’s is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Shamrock Shake by taking the iconic treat nationwide on February 19, 2020.

But that’s not all, as part of the celebration, the brand is also introducing an all-new minty treat: the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry.
The mint-flavored Shamrock Shake features the chain’s vanilla soft serve blended with the brand’s signature Shamrock syrup and whipped topping.
Meanwhile, new Oreo Shamrock McFlurry is made with the brand’s creamy, vanilla soft serve blended with Shamrock flavor and Oreo cookie pieces.
Both minty treats will be available at participating locations nationwide starting Wednesday, February 19, 2020.
The seasonal shake last appeared on menu boards nationwide back in 2017.
The Shamrock Shake was created by Connecticut McDonald’s owner and operator Hal Rosen in 1967, in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. It later made its debut in select locations across the US in 1970.
