With Valentine’s Day arriving on Friday, I thought it would be a time to put together a running list of food related specials, promotions and giveaways that you can expect to find near you during the 2020 Valentine’s Day season.

While not a complete list, here’s a taste of this year’s more popular national promotions (I’ll circle back to this running list and update as required):

  • 7-Eleven and Postmates: Free pint of your favorite Ben & Jerry’s flavor upon check-out using the code ‘happyvday’ with any 7-Eleven order via Postmates – no minimum required – through February 16, 2020.
  • Auntie Anne’s: Heart-Shaped Original and Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels will be available at Auntie Anne’s nationwide for one day only on February 14, 2020.  Additionally, on Valentine’s Day, participating locations will be offering Pretzel Perks app users a buy one, get one free heart-shaped pretzel offer in-store only on Valentine’s Day.

  • California Pizza Kitchen: California Pizza Kitchen Offers $35 ‘Sweet Deal For Two’ From February 12-16, 2020
  • Carvel: Lil’ Hearts available through February 14, 2020 in packs of four ($9.99) or six ($12.99). Chocolate Decadence Heart Cake: Features a layer of chocolate ice cream, Carvel’s signature crunchies, and a layer of vanilla ice cream – all topped with rich fudge and more crunchies on the outside. The message and ice cream flavor can be customized by contacting your local shoppe and giving 24 hours’ notice. Available for $19.99.
  • Cicis: Free Kids Buffet with purchase of an Adult Buffet and large drink with this coupon on February 14, 2020.
  • Cinnabon: Heart-shaped CinnaPacks available for a limited time at mall bakeries and Pilot Flying J locations nationwide. Mall bakeries will offer a heart pack that includes nine MiniBon cinnamon rolls, starting at $14.99; Pilot Flying J locations will feature a 16-count BonBites pack, starting at $9.99.
  • Cold Stone Creamery: Fudge Truffle Ice Cream available as part of Falling in Chocolate Creation through February 18, 2020.
  • The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: Buy one, get one free special. Order any regular or large beverage and get a second one free to enjoy with that special someone from 2 p.m. to close on February 14 through Sunday, February 16, 2020.Starbucks: BOGO beverages deal. Starbucks is offering fans a buy one, get one free on any handcrafted beverage, size grande or larger, in participating U.S. stores on Thursday, February 13 during Happy Hour from 2-7 p.m.
  • Einstein Bros. Bagels: Pick up a Bakers Dozen of Heat Bagels – Available from February 10 through February 14 in Plain, chocolate chip and Cinnamon Raisin flavors.
  • Firehouse Subs: On Valentine’s Day (February 14) guests can visit Firehouse Subs for a Family Night offer after 4 p.m. and receive a free medium sub with purchase of additional medium or large sub chips and drink with this coupon.
  • Hardee’s: Buy One, Get One Free Big Fried Cheese Deal On February 14, 2020
  • Hooters: Buy any 10 wings, get 10 free boneless wings when you destroy a picture of your ex on Friday, February 14, 2020. Shredders provided at participating Hooters restaurants or virtually at Hooters.com/ShredYourEx. Offer available for dine-in only at participating locations.
  • Hungry Howie’s: One-topping heart-shaped pizzas available for $6.99 at participating locations across the U.S on February 13 and February 14, 2020.
  • Jack in the Box: App Deal: Free Chocolate Overload Cake, Free Cheesecake, or Free 5-piece Mini Churros with any purchase. Text/ E-Club Deal: Buy one, get one Shake. Both offers available from February 14 through February 16, 2020 at participating locations. Fans can redeem all 3 app offers, but not in the same transaction.
  • Jet’s Pizza: On Friday, February 14, Jet’s Pizza locations nationwide will be selling heart-shaped pizzas, Jet’s Bread, and Cinnamon Stix.   • McAlister’s Deli: Kids Eat Free on Friday, February 14, 2020 only for dine-in or carry out orders. Valid for up to two free kids meals per adult entree purchase, offer may vary by location. Free kids meal is only available for kids 12 and under ordering from the kids menu.
  • McDonald’s: McDelivery in partnership with DoorDash are celebrating “Palentine’s Day” by offering $5 off any minimum purchase of $15 from Thursday, February 13 through Monday, February 17, 2020 with promo code LOVEMCD in the DoorDash App.
  • Papa John’s: Heart-Shaped Pizzas Return To Papa John’s On February 10, 2020 – Available Through February 16, 2020
