On tonight’s episode of Restaurant Impossible, Robert Irvine and his crew team are in Ferguson, Missouri to save Drake’s Place, an American cuisine restaurant teetering on closing its doors for the last time.
Drake’s Place officially opened its doors for business on May 20, 2014.
According to the episode synopsis, when Robert visits Drake’s Place, he finds a beloved community restaurant on the brink of closing its doors, where the owners, Sonny and Bridget are out of both money and options. While they wish their son would step up more, Sonny also struggles to give up control.
The makeover took place on November 5 and November 6, 2019.
According to a tweet by Robert Irvine, Drake’s Place is losing $1,000 per month and have upwards of $60,000 in debt.
Well tonight on @Rest_Imposs
5 years later, Drake’s place still struggles to make a profit. The restaurant loses about $1,000 per month &have upwards of $60,000 in debt. While Bridgett and Sony do take a paycheck, it’s minimal and their employees make more money than they do.
