Starting February 26, 2020, Dunkin’ will start pouring what they calling the “perfect coffee alternative,” with the introduction of new Matcha Lattes.
Unlike tradition green tea, where the tea leaves are steeped or brewed, Matcha is made by stone grinding young green tea leaf buds into a fine powder. In Dunkin’s case, their Matcha green tea powder is produced in the Nishio region of Aichi prefecture, Japan, where some of the finest Matcha in the world has been grown for more than 8 centuries.
Blended with your choice of milk for a fresh, vibrant green tea flavor balanced with subtle sweetness, Matcha Lattes are available hot, iced or frozen.
In addition to Matcha Lattes, Dunkin’ is also introducing the new Protein Muffin. Offering 16 grams of protein per muffin, the protein-packed treat features blueberries, cranberries, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
New Matcha Lattes and the new Protein Muffin will be available for a limited time at participating locations nationwide beginning February 26, 2020.
