Panera looks to disrupt the coffee market with the introduction of the first unlimited coffee subscription service featuring hot coffee, iced coffee and hot tea for $8.99 per month.

Just take note that the new coffee subscription is available to members of MyPanera – Panera’s free loyalty program. MyPanera members can register for their subscription via the Panera website and mobile app. The company will also be offering sign up via QR code in Panera bakery-cafes nationwide beginning Monday, March 2, 2020.
The new subscription goes for $8.99 per month and includes one cup of drip hot coffee, hot tea, or iced coffee every two hours during regular bakery-cafe hours, including free refills of the same beverage at more than 2,100 participating US Panera Bread bakery-cafes nationwide.
Additionally, and as part of Panera’s ongoing effort to be more plant-forward, Panera has also removed the upcharge for plant-based milk in all US Panera bakery-cafes. Almond milk is now available on the coffee station free of charge, and the company says it is actively exploring adding other non-dairy alternatives in the near future.
According to statistics cited by Panera, the average American spends $1,100 on coffee a year, and based on that statistic, Panera says its new coffee subscription could save coffee fans nearly $1,000 per year while providing access to unlimited coffee.
